About the White Spruce

The White Spruce (Picea glauca) is a tough and adaptable evergreen that’s native to northern North America. It features short, stiff, bluish-green needles and a neat, pyramidal form, making it a practical and attractive choice for shelterbelts, windbreaks, and larger yards. This species is known for its cold hardiness and ability to thrive in a range of soil types, as long as drainage is adequate.
