About the Ure Pear
The Ure Pear is a hardy prairie pear developed in Manitoba, producing small to medium, sweet, juicy yellow-green pears that are excellent fresh or canned. It is one of the most reliable pears for cold climates.
In spring the tree is covered in white blossoms, and the foliage turns red to purple in fall. Pears need a pollinator—plant Ure with Early Gold or another hardy pear for a good crop.
