About the Honey Bee Haskap
The Honey Bee Haskap (also known as Honeyberry) is a vigorous, productive variety bred as a pollinator for Aurora and other mid-season haskaps. Cold-hardy and easy to grow, it produces tangy-sweet blue berries and a dense, rounded bush that fits well in a fruit row or home garden.
Haskaps need a compatible partner that flowers at the same time. Honey Bee blooms early with Aurora, so plant at least one of each for good yields. Pale yellow spring flowers are followed by elongated blue berries in late June to July, great for fresh eating, freezing, jams and baking.
