About the Goodland Apple
The Goodland Apple is one of the hardiest and most popular prairie apples, developed at Morden, Manitoba. It produces large, pale yellow apples with a red blush and crisp, creamy flesh that are excellent for fresh eating, sauce and baking.
White spring blossoms are followed by fruit that ripens in late August to early September. Goodland is a dependable producer on a compact tree; plant a second apple or a flowering crabapple nearby for pollination.
