About the Dakota Pinnacle Birch
The Dakota Pinnacle Birch is a narrow, columnar birch from North Dakota State University with bright white bark and a tidy upright form. It fits beautifully where space is limited—along driveways, beside buildings or as a vertical accent in the yard.
It is noted for good resistance to bronze birch borer, a common problem for many birches. The glossy green leaves turn golden-yellow in fall. Plant about 8 ft apart for a living screen and at least 10 ft from buildings.
