About the Colorado Baby Blue Spruce

Colorado Blue Spruce, a relaxed evergreen tree that is indigenous to the Rocky Mountains. Its striking blue-green needles and pointed appearance make it a standout among its peers. In the springtime, the tree boasts small purple or red flowers that lead to brown cones filled with wind-ready seeds. This resilient tree has been known to survive harsh winters and droughts, provided it is planted in well-drained soil and exposed to plentiful sunlight. Colorado Blue Spruce trees are excellent for creating shelterbelts, privacy screens, or as accent trees.
